UKS and Whizz Education launch Maths-Whizz Online Tutor via schools in the UAE

UKS, the Middle East’s leading learning solutions enabler, in cooperation with its partner Whizz Education, the award-winning education company in the UK, have launched Maths-Whizz® Tutoring Plus for Schools at Latifah School for Girls and the Jumeirah English Speaking Schools.

Developed in association with world renowned educationalists, Maths-Whizz® Tutoring Plus for Schools is available for 4 to 13-year-olds through schools and at home. The service is a personalised online maths tutor that provides students with fun and engaging new ways of learning, using award winning content and interactive animations, to teach maths concepts and provide challenging questions to test them.

Students at the Latifa School for Girls and the Jumeirah English Speaking Schools will be the first in the region to use the online tutor. Both schools and parents were very impressed with the service and their students really enjoyed it, as such, the Jumeirah English Speaking Schools and Latifa School for Girls implemented Maths-Whizz.

The service provides personalised learning for every student. Teachers can login to access live school, class and individual reports to monitor the progress of students, thus enhancing their learning plan.

Students at the Jumeirah English Speaking School were handed out certificates, by UKS & Whizz Education, for the most improved student in each year group. Kimberly McLean, Deputy Head FS and KS1 who has subscribed to the service for both of her children said “After writing to tell you about my problems, I felt I should also write about my successes! Whizz is now working well and both my children are loving the program; my eldest has even learnt how to divide by 10 and 100!!! A great success in the McLean household. Thanks”

Four other innovative schools in the UAE are now setting up the Maths-Whizz tutoring service as part of the school provision so parents can benefit from personalized tuition for their children. Parents can subscribe to the service directly through the Maths-Whizz website, however, by doing it through the school there is greater integration and higher cost savings.
