Offline Learning

UKS understands that network restrictions and bandwidth limitations play a vital role in any learning environment. UKS utilizes the concept of offline learning to enable learners to complete course activities while disconnected from the network. Courses (or sections in courses) flagged with an offline status can be downloaded (or published on CDs and DVDs) to the learners with full security encryption algorithms. Learner can reconnect to the network to send the tracking information back to the server.

Mobile Learning (mLearning)

UKS is heavily involved with the concept and implementation of Mobile Learning, the true implementation on anytime, anywhere learning. UKS utilizes this exciting technology to deliver interactive content and quizzes directly to the learners’ portable devices (PDA, Mobile phones, Pocket PCs, or any other portable UMTS Wi-Fi and GPRS devices)

Content tracking is preserved and synchronized with the server; the collaboration tools are also available on the portable device to enhance the learning experience.

Location Based Learning

As the technology is moving forward at a rapid speed, UKS with its partners are offering innovative state-of-the-art learning solutions to empower users with wireless and location based access via wearable devices and even bar code readers. UKS utilizes the RFID technology as well as the eye and voice detection controls to offer the right content at the right time. Content can be either dependent on the learners’ location or controlled by voice and gaze.
